It’s a new week. Take a deep breath, Robin, and plunge in.
I’ve finished revising the first chapters of PTM, and I am now writing “new stuff.” Feels good. I now have more conflict set up for my characters. It appears that in this season of my career my challenge is always to make it harder on my characters.
Proverbs 2:3-4 tells me to “Cry out [to God] for insight and understanding. Search for them as you would for lost money or hidden treasure.” The result of doing so is this: “Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will know how to find the right course of action every time. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy.” (Prov 2:9-10)
Since my heart’s cry is to write my books for the Lord, I’m seeking His wisdom for this story so that I will “know how to find the right course of action every time.”
